A 3D spatiotemporal morphological database for urban green infrastructure and its applications

Abstract The morphology of urban green infrastructure (UGI) will affect the quality environment and way people perceive. three-dimensional morphological features UGI have been proven to be key factors effect ecological environment, which rarely incorporated into in previous researches. In this paper, a systematic approach develop 3D spatiotemporal database for is proposed. built on complete set information describing form plane, vertical direction temporal changes. addition, three categories parameters are calculated integrated database. User operation visualization parameter achievable can further with simulation programs analytical models so that it used design research various sustainable subjects. case study, we create an district 4km² Nanjing, China.
